Silver Linings Lakehouse was born from the dream and legacy of the late Jim Wilsey, who passed away in October 2018 after a courageous battle with ALS, also known as Lou Gehrig's Disease.

Jim loved life on the lake. Whether he was tending to his garden, enjoying time on the pontoon boat, riding Jet Skis, or simply gathering with friends and family, the lakehouse was his happy place. He and his wife, Suzanne, cherished every opportunity to share it with the people they loved.

Following Jim's passing, Suzanne felt called to honor his memory by fulfilling his dream of making Silver Linings Lakehouse a place where others could come to experience their own little slice of heaven. She poured her heart into remodeling, improving, and preparing the property to welcome guests.

When Silver Linings Lakehouse held its soft opening, the response was overwhelming. The community embraced it immediately, and bookings quickly exceeded expectations.

Above all, we give glory and honor to the Lord for allowing us to share this special place with others. We believe Silver Linings Lakehouse is one way we can serve as a vessel for the promise found in Jeremiah 29:11:

"For I know the plans I have for you," declares the Lord, "plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future."

Our prayer is that during your stay you find time to rest, relax, reconnect, and rejuvenate as you create memories with those you love most.
